Citizens Advice Braintree Halstead & Witham is staffed by a hard working team of trained advisers, most of whom are volunteers. They are led by our Trustee Board and Chief Officer and supported by a team of people in a variety of other valuable part-time and volunteer roles. People join us at many different stages of their lives and come from a range of different backgrounds and experiences, all looking to make a difference in their local community. If you’re interested in joining us, we’d love to hear from you.
Our team includes trustees, advisers, case workers, admin and other supporters.
- Trustees are volunteers who help to guide and govern us, working with staff to shape strategy and give direction.
- Advisors are trained to provide information and advice across a broad range of subjects including benefits, housing, debt and employment. Advice is given by phone, face to face or email, helping clients to make informed decisions.
- Case workers are specialists within their subject area who work with clients to interpret information and take action to resolve their issues.
